You have separate issues going on here.

First there is the matter of regaining possession. If you are the sole title holder you are entitled to repossess the truck by yourself or with the use of agents. You may also sue her for conversion or trespass to chattels and receive the value of the truck. The problem will be be in trying to locate the truck.

If you are co-owners it gets more hazy who who is entitled to possession, but you could employ self-help and repossess it nevertheless.

The second matter is who makes payments on the loan. You are both required to make the payments. The lender may help you find and repossess the car if you explain the situation and this may reduce your long-term liability.

Next time be careful who you cosign a loan or take title to property with!
