Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Oregon

My landlord requested that we use email to communicate with them. They are now using my personal email to solicit real estate information and exclusive real estate newsletter subscriptions. Is this illegal for them to use my information to solicit to me?

You're use of solicit here is awkward. They're trying to sell you something, or they're trying to get you to give you something? Or they're stealing something from you? What ever it is, if it's bothering you, tell them to stop. There's no legal principle involved here, just tell them to knock it off.
