Legal Question in Military Law in Oregon

Army Reserve Enlistment

I have been out of the military for 20+years. I have a 20% VA Disability on my rt. ankle from in-line of duty status of my initial enlistment. I have just recently decided to go back in the Army Reserves. I am haveing serious swelling and pain in both ankles and my rt. knee when I try to run and get in shape. I have received 7500 of a 15000 prior service enlistment bonus. Is ther anything I can do to seek discharge due to the pain and swelling I am haveing? The reserves has really changed since I was last in and this is not for me any more. Please help with any advise for pursueing this matter

If you simply can't do it, there's a medical process for that. I sense the real issue is whether you have to pay back the enlistment bonus. This question is probably not new, so see your local "JAG" officer.

Okay. Soldiers can be separated from the military under certain circumstances. You should contact an attorney to pursue a separation from the military. Fee free to contact me if you need help.
