can a teleconferece be recorded

A union official demanded to record a teleconference meeting without gaining the approval of the meeting participants.

It can vary state by state. Some states allow a participant to a phone conversation to record it without permission of the others. Other states require the permission of the other participants. I am not aware of how Oregon addresses this issue. You should consult with an attorney admitted to practice in Oregon to give you a definitive issues.
