Getting Recompense for an Illness that was diagnosed while serving.

I was diagnosed with clinical depression while serving in the Marine Corps in 1991, and the Doctor who diagnosed me issued a recommendation for medical discharge. I was not given a medical discharge, unknown why, instead, I received an ''OTH'', yet my condition persisted for the next 16 years, causing me professional and financial setbacks. I have finally received treatment of my conditions, and am ow in a state of mind to try and correct this.

Do I have a case? If so or if not so, what are my options?

If so, how do I get in touch with a competent attorney who will work pro-bono, as I am extremely poor due to the destructive nature my depression and anxiety have had on my life.

There are several veterans organizations which will file your case pro bono. The two that I reccommend are the PVA and the DAV. Contact their respective offices in your area to make an appointment to discuss your case. You may have a good case for PTSD.
