Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oregon

My mother just passed away. She has a will that is on file at the county courthouse. She lived in Oregon. The will leaves everything to me and my two brothers equally. She did not have much - a modest home that she still has a mortgage on, a small retirement account, a small life insurance policy and a car. What do we need to do to transfer her possesions to me and my brothera?

You will likely need to go through probate to transfer the house and other assets. You should talk to a probate attorney. If you want to ask specific questions call me at 503-799-8411.
