Legal Question in Administrative Law in Pennsylvania

A Zoning Officer in the township where we live allowed a resident to listen to a complaint we made to the township (out of spite) and now that resident has threatened to kill us because of it. Is there any legal action we can take on the Township responsible for hiring this girl?

First of all I hope you contacted your local police. That conduct is criminal....Terroristic threats,

harassment, etc.

As to any action against the township, you have to be able to show that it was done maliciously by the employee, that there was some foreseeability this could happen in the way that it did, and also whether there is a requirement of confidentiality by township regulations and guidelines.

If you would like to discuss it, call 215 732 4000

Good luck!
