Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Pennsylvania

my girlfriend recieved an eviction notice for false accusations...she got an attorney and the attorney sent a letter to the landlord that the eviction is on hold until a court date....my girlfriend is fearing that the sherrif can still come and evict her even though the eviction is on hold
