Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Pennsylvania

if i decided to to go back and challenge a procedure. but when i submitted my petition the court asked for the docket number. but of course they should have one on file, but have no record of the procedures or docket number how do i challenge the legality of my claims if the courts mis placed or have no record of them procedures on file let a long have a docket number if they never documented of filed the proceedings to begin with????

Assuming there was some decision or filing you're challenging the docket number should be on that. If not you need to know 2 names. Your name and the opposing parties name. Whith that the prothonotary should be able to determine what docket number your case is under. Possibly nothings has been filed then what you have is an initial filing so there will be a new docket number. If that's the cqse expect to pony up a filing fee.
