Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Pennsylvania

Email correspondence with newspaper publisher/editor

A newpaper editor tells me to no longer email the paper and threatens harassment if I persist.

Is this possible? I am not threatening, making threats, no slander, just correspondence about a disagreement on an issue. Thanks

Well do you think annoying him further will change his mind?

Just because he's a newspaper editor doesn't grant you any rights to keep sending him email.

Yes. It's very possible. They can tell you to leave them alone, and you should leave them alone. They are under no obligation to have a spirited discussion with you about issues. I recommend that you find a new newspaper or start a blog as an outlet.
