wrongfull death dads sister filing

my father is dead his sister is suing for wrongful death do i need a lawyer? or by law is she to disburst funds evenly?

Huh? His sister is suing WHO for wrongful death? If she's suing you, of course you need a lawyer. It's not a matter of disbursing funds from your father's estate. Wrongful death means that if you lose, you may owe the estate money, and not just that money that you would have gotten...you could lose a lot more.

Yes, you need an attorney. And quickly.
