This is a family law - child support issue not a debt collection issue. I suggested you re-post and direct your question to a family law attorney.

No attorney though can possibly answer your question. What was the ordered support? Was it reduced to $100 while he was incarcerated? What does any support order say? If it was always $100 then support is not going up just because the father is earning more unless you take him back to court and request modification of the child support order and ask for an increase.

If, however, the order was for some amount greater than $100 a month and provided for a temporary reduction during the period of incarceration, then it might go back to what it was. But you have to read the order to see what it says.

If you cannot afford a lawyer then go to the domestic relations office in your county or in the county where the child support order was entered. They may have the forms for you to do it yourself or may assist you in getting increased support based on increased earnings.
