Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Collections council a no show at court

What happens if I defend a collections action in court after being served and the plantiff or its council does not show for the proceedings? Do I still owe the debt that was contested and / or can the plaintiff appeal or can they file again?
