Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

I have a debt of 1000 dollars it's a collection debt I agreed in court to 20 monthly but I support myself and my family of 300 take home it was really hard so I couldn't pay the 20 a month my collection debt is 7 years old now they supened me in court years later what will happen and what can I do about it

Do they have a judgement against you then they can use legal procedures to execute or garnish your assets. If no judgement then they would have to sue you if you have not made a payment for four year you probably have a defense if sued but you must asert it finally as a last resort and only if your overall financial situation warrant and of course if you qualify a bankruptcy

may be an available option. Since your facts are to sketchy i suggest you review your situation with an attorney.
