Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Can a lender assign a contract without the borrowers permission. The contract does not have a right to assign clause. This is in Pennsylvania.

Yes. Why do they need your permission? Unless there is something in the contract precluding assignment I am not aware of anything. Debts are bought and sold by debt buyers all the time. Same with mortgages.
