my 17 year old son was at a party and the policeofficer gave them all a disorderly conduct fine,s18s5503ssa4. will this be dropped after he turns 18? should i get lawyer

No, it won't be "dropped" once he turns 18. If you mean expunged from his record, no - that won't happen either. A disorderly conduct citation, however, isn't something that normally comes up on a criminal records search, but the information can be obtained online for years. It's probably worth discussing with an attorney, yes.

Although it is not as serious an offense, it sometimes rears its ugly head.....

You should have a lawyer..they may put them on a probationary type program with the charges dismissed if they get in no new trouble--but don;t take a chance Call an attorney.

The fee would probably not be prohibitive...
