Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

I was accused of retail theft buy a loss prevention employee at Walmart I did not do it the cops cleared me of it by reviewing the footage but now an attorney from Walmart is pressing me to pay $150 to them why is that and is it legal I was never charged with any crime so why do I have to pay anybody any money it almost sounds like extortion to me

If you didn't do it then somebody else did it. Walmart is out $150 and since the don't have the guy who did it. They're trying $150out of somebody and they choose you.

Tell Walmart lawyer the police cleared you and any further contact is harassment and you will file complaints with the police and the disciplinary committee.
