Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

I live in pa which has the stand your ground and castle doctrin laws, but I cannot find out if this applies to police illegally entering a home thanks

Because it doesn't Fist it would be impossible for a person to know whether the police are there illegally or not.Next unlike armed civilians the police don't use deadly foce unless they are attacked,

Hi, and Happy New Year,

The previous answer is correct in that those laws do not apply to the police.

The police can enter your home in a "non-emergency" situation only if (1) they have a search warrant, specifying which rooms they will search and what they are looking for, or (2) You give them permission to enter your home.

If the police attempt to enter your home in any situation other than the 2 situations listed above, and as a result of such entry, they seize anything that can be used against you, your remedy would be to have your attorney file a Motion to Suppress.
