Statute of limitations 4 dui

in 1993 my ex wife was pulled over 4 dui taken 2 hospital 4 blood test they let her go told her 2 come in next day 4 fingerprinting she did then they let her go again she was with a guy who stold her money and beet on her so she left him and bounced around never 2 hear about it any more until states came 2 my house 2 days ago looking 4 her 4 this she has turned herself in but was wondering what will happen there telling her 6 months + ? i have friends who have got less on 2nd offence dui so i was trying 2 find out if there just messing with her or if there is really a statute of limitations or is that a word we dont use any more just like Miranda rights THank you

The SOL is two years for DUI but it sounds to me like they commenced the action within the period of the statute. You have a bit of a complicated case and you definitely need an attorney.
