Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

2 years ago I was convicted of a DUI. I got into an accident where there was snowy conditions and a friend drove my car to his house where I had drinks. About an hour later (police cannot pinpoint when the accident happened) police came to the door and I told them I infact was driving and hit a slick spot. Long story short the DA's only angle for finding me guilty of a dui, was he stated that it doesnt matter if you are sober when you wreck, if you go to someones house and drink, you are still guilty of a Dui. Is this true and enough to convict me. Im a first time offender.
