Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

dui, York, PA

fiance was accused of dui 8/15/2008 in York Co., PA, even after successfuly completing field sobriety test. They took BAC test at York Hospital. When he was booked, they released him without any bail, and didn't give him any paperwork. He had one drink that night, but didn't leave the establishment until 2 hours after, he weighs 200 pounds, and given these facts, we don't believe that he was over the legal limit.Up until now, we have not received any mailed correspondence or any official notices of any kind. He was told that he should receive something via mail atleast within 3 weeks. It is now going on the 4th week. Is there a way that he can find out what his blood alcohol test results are? I've heard a myth that, when a person's BAC tests above the legal limit, they usually recieve notification in a timely manner, with the idea that time is not wasting when attempting to convict someone, but when a person's BAC tests below the legal limit, the authorities are not in a hurry to send anything via mail when everything is ''OK'' At least if we knew of a way to find out the results of the blood alcohol test, it would bring some closure. Thanks

He successfully completed field sobriety tests? How do you know that? If he did, then there would be no real reason to take him for a blood test, unless you're not sharing the entire story.

You could call the police to ask about the results, but, at this point, I'd say that no news is good news.
