Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

divorce

my wife came home from vacation, said she wanted a divorce.she moved out 2 days later. before she left i wrote a piece of paper and signed saying i would give her 10 grand within 2 weeks of finalization of our divorce.after she moved out i found out she was cheating on me while we were married.i wrote the paper, because she told me she was leaving because she told me she was leaving because i with held some info from her. i have hpv, genital warts.after she left i checked her cell phone records, turns out she had a boyfriend for at least six months, while we were married. does this violate the paper i signed?is that piece of paper a binding contract?i am looking for a divorce lawyer in the norristown, collegeville area.

Re: divorce

Probably not. Without looking at the document I

am presuming it is a "back of the envelope" type

agreement without the magic words necessary to make it binding. I practice in Montgomery and Chester Counties and can help you. Bill McLaughlin
