Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

family

i am 21 years old i have a little brother and a little sister that i am trying to see. 6 years ago my mother abbandoned us i was only 15 all of my 6brothers and sisters were seperated the 2 youngest went with my sisters dad and his wife. ever scince me and my sister have been trying to be in their life, the youngest of the 6. off and on the step mother that they reside with will let us be in their life for a couple of months. then out of no where she wont let us contact them, or see them. there is alot more to this situstion that i can not write. i raised them scince they were born up untill all this happened in 2001 i love them kids like they were my own i need to know what i can do legally to get some kind of right to see them. please help me please.

This is a pretty complex issue. I do not think that there is a statutory law in PA that says that siblings have a visitation right but if it is in the child's best interest and does not interfer with the rights of the parents you may be able to obtain rights to visit your siblings. I suggest that you go to an attorney or PA Legal Aid and speek with an attorney about helping you. You can find information on PA Legal Aid at palegalservices.org.
