Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Do I have to follow a custody order when the case is closed? My son and I live in PA. The order was established in MD. The case is now closed and won't take anymore cases. What happens if I don't follow the custody order? What can the police do? There is no open case in MD or PA.

Well if they transfer the case to PA which they could easily do the penalties for contempt could range from almost nothing to one of more of the following: $500 in sanctions, you could have to pay her attorneys' fees they could even make you do 6 months i prison. Now more than likely the punishment will be slight the first time you ignore the order the second and third ties the judge gets very unhappy with you.
