Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My husband asked me for a divorce,,,do we each have to have an attorney?? He wants us to come to n agreement on assets,then take it to attorney and have it drawn up.He said he will pay my bills for me,,since I only work a couple of nights a week.,per his request.We own house,vehicles,he said I can live in house,,house is in both names.We don't want to sell.I can have suv that I drive all the time,and he can have other..Im just curious,,I've have spoken to an attorney,,,and he can't believe he is still here in house.We've been married 21 years,he also has his own business.There is no children involved.
