Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I have a six year old child and never received child support. The father lives in Brooklyn new York. He has refused to settle out of court. How can I get child support and back child support? I live outside of Philadelphia,PA

You need to file for child support with your local Domestic Relations Office. They will go back to the date of filing so you're not likely to get any support prior to that date.

child support starts on filing date in PA, check with a NY lawyer to see if they can go back years. Some states allow you to go back some don't.
