Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Boat situation in Pennsylvania

I have a situation in Pennsylvania that I am trying to get some help for. I moved recently from Pennsylvania, and I am trying to figure out the best way to have a boat in Pennsylvania put in my spouse's name. In short, the boat once belonged to my spouse's ex father in law, who asked my spouse (when previously married) to keep the boat on his property some ten years ago. He said he would pay storage fees, but my husband, because the boat belonged to the father in law, didn't pursue monies or formalize the agreement. The husband divorced the first wife, told her to have the father in law get in contact about the boat to decide it's fate, but it never happened. Now, 10 years after he took the boat to hold on to, he still has it and father in law has laid no claim to it, formally or otherwise. The boat is currently with relatives in Pennsylvania. I want to find out if there's a way to have the boat declared to belong to the husband in court (perhaps a gift by conduct of father in law or a common law lien)so that it can be put in husband's name. Would like a Pennsylvania attorney in Northampton County or surrounding area to consider taking this on.

Not sure about the law in PA. However, your spouse should contact his ex father in law and tell him the the boat is going to be delivered to where he lives.
