Legal Question

Regarding a protection from Abuse order

I had an unfounded PFA placed against me based on nontruthful information. My hearing is scheduled for this Friday at 9 am. The paper says that if I do not attend the hearing, they can rule on it regardless. Since I am NOT around this person and have no desire to be, does it really matter if I go to this hearing or not?
