Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

We are being summoned to a magistrate hearing--we live in Pa.--and we were served by a constable banging on our door, in an official car. Very public, and demeaning as our neighbors could see the situation, and of course hear the banging. The very next day we received the same summons via the USPS.

Our landlord witnessed the physical serving, and even tried to stop it. She also said that this was the only time a summons was delivered this way--never in the past, and was unprecedented.

Do we have any recourse? This was very demeaning, and damaging to our character.

No that's the way summons are served by the constable. First in person then by mail. It doesn't sound like the constable did anything that was out of line.
