Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania

immigration

I have a green card for three years and the next year, Im planning to study in Rome for two years. During the summer and winter vacation, Im planning to come back to the USA . Will I lose my green card? Will I have a problem in becoming a citizen of the USA after 5 years?

Please answer

Thanks, John

Re: immigration

We have to talk specific dates. I could most likely help you to maintain your green card so it is not considered abandoned. However, although you may not lose your eligibility for citizenship you may end up restarting the clock. The only way I could help you determine that in advance would be to speak with you. You can email or call us to set up a consultation and we'll go through all the details so you know exactly what to expect with your trip and your citizenship eligibility.
