rent to own

i am moving out of my home and instead of selling i would like to rent to own my home to a freind. what do i need to do?

Have a written lease prepared, collect a secuirty deposit, check with your community to see if you need an inspection and/or license to lease the real estate.

Have your tax accountant advise you on deductions and income reporting.

Check with your insurance agent for any changes needed in your policy.
