Discharge upgrade

Immediately following boot camp I was discharged from the USMC(art. 86-32 days) and was given an OTH discharge. I voluntarily went back and was held in a seperation platoon awaiting discharge for over a month. The time I spent there brought my active duty days over 180. Is it still possible to get my discharge upgraded to entry level? Or to get my re-enlistment code improved from re-4? I greatly wish to re-enlist.

You will not be able to get an ELS. But you may be able to petition for a better reenlistment code. Contact Mr. Grant Lattin (703) 490-0000.
