Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

I have a fenced in backyard and would like to build an ice skating rink for my 16 y.o. daughter to use with her friends. Her friends would need to have their own skates. Do you think there is a liability issue and would we need a special adjustment to our homeowner's policy? We would not be charging admission, and I could contact the friends' parents before they skated. Thank you. CS

I think you've got the same potential problems that a public skating rink could have. What happens if the ice you make is unsafe or if there's a defect in the "boards" or fence and a neighbor gets seriously injured. What if your lighting is unsafe? I would talk very long w/ your insurance broker to cover your butt!
