Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

Taping of meetings

I started taping meetings between myself and the Youth Advocate workers assigned to my case as they gave so much conflicting information that I could not keep up with everything. (I have ADD) I am filing a lawsuit against them and another county agency. At one of the meetings, the clinician admitted openly to not doing or job and took responsibility for all of the ''miscommunication.'' I had told them at one point in time that I was going to start taping meetings to keep track of them. Can I use these tapes in my lawsuit? My child was subsequently taken by CYS and abused in a forter home. I am a competent parent but now suffer from agoraphobia and my therapist stated that I need to apply for disability. It is quite a complex case. Thank you!

Re: Taping of meetings

You have a number of issues which require detail and time in order to give you an acceptable response. As for disability you would need medical documentation that meet or equal certain medical definitions of a certain conditon. You also have many other qualifications you need satisfy.

Whether the tapes you have would be admitted in a subsequent legal proceeding would be admissable in such a proceeding is also an issue that requires more information. You should ask your legal counsel for the suit you have filed about this issue.
