neighbor's fence

my neighbor put a fence between our properties, am I liable for leaves that fall on his property?

They must be some impressive leaves if you think liability is involved.

If there wasn't a fence would you be responsible if the leaves landed on your property and blew into his yard? Maybe if you let the leaves piled up and made no attempt to rake them up.

My suggestion is talk to your neighbor and see how he feels about it. If you and he are willing to allow you to come over and rake them up there's no problem.

Why not just go and talk to your neighbor and ask what would be a reasonable solution to the problem. For you know he wants them for his compost heap.
