Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

hello....i just have a question....back in 2008 i was pulled over for an expired inspection sticker (my fault...i honestly forgot)....anyway, the police officer said that my license was suspended and he had given me a citation, which, i assume meant that i had to go to court.....now i looked up the number and it states

1543. Driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.

(a) Offense defined.--Except as provided in subsection (b), any person who drives a motor vehicle on any highway or trafficway of this Commonwealth after the commencement of a suspension, revocation or cancellation of the operating privilege and before the operating privilege has been restored is guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $200.

So, my question to you is (and this was my first time driving under suspension, non-dui or drug related)....does that mean all i have to do is pay a fine then of 200 dollars? if so, do i have to go in front of the judge or can I just pay at the desk? I ask bc I have severe anxiety and have a great deal of fear not only being around a full room of people, but also getting in front of a judge....i haven't driven in five years and really need a license bc it's tough finding a professional job w/no license, and also, my father has heart problems and i don't want him to continue driving....i don't want that burden on him....any advice? oh, p.s. for this offense....would i need an attorney? it shows up as a summary offense when i read the document
