Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Inheritance

Recently my deceased mother's homeplace sold and my father received her share, she's been dead for 6 years. My question is because my mother is deceased, shouldn't that money of went to the 3 sons? My father is remarried, but states the reason he got the money was because my mother and him had a will. The other deceased brothers and sisters siblings received their parent's share. My father was the only one to get a deceased person's share.

Re: Inheritance

you have not provided enough facts to properly answer this question. if your mother and father had divorced prior to her passing, then the bequeath to him in the Will may be null and void. if the property was solely owned by mother, you may have a claim to a portion of it as well. more facts are needed to give an adequate answer here. please feel free to contact my office to discuss this matter further.
