Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Philippines

I feel bad, i am online contractor, My client didn't end my contract even the project has end, i really need money so i continue charging bills on him which is not work related and cost $2000 and now he's asking for refund, i'm willing to give refund but it will take time since we're very poor. If i failed to give the refund will i go to jail ? He's from another country.
