Legal Question in Criminal Law in Philippines
atty , please help me.. i want to know kung ano po pwede gawin para di ako makulong kasi nga wala akong natanggap na summon . they have my correct address po and kung nasa release paper naman po and schedule ng hearing na overlooked ko yata and besides po wala kami copy ng release paper ccos ang copies nasa warrant and sa police kinuha nila.. so wala naiwanan sa amin.. is there a way po na ma lift ang warrant? ayaw ko po makulong ulit.. and i dont have intention naman na balewalain ang court proceedings...what are the chances na pwede xa malift and ask for a reschedule of the hearing?
Atyy what are the chances na malift ang warrant and ma reschedule ang hearing? and also is it ok kung atty sa PAO ang mgrepresent on my behalf for the meantime to ask and file the motion to lift, para ma cite that I inadvertently overlooked the date of hearing due to my health condition and that there was no deliberate intention to disregard the court process?
Please po Atty I need your humble reply for my peace of mind.
