Legal Question in Personal Injury in Rhode Island

I was walking into a college and slipped and fell in the vestibule. The floor was very wet due to the weather. here was no wet floor sign and no floor mat to wipe feet. I have a torn ligament in my knee. Is this a case?

It certainly could be a premises liability case but not a very easy one. In RI during inclement weather a property owner is given a reasonable amount of time to discover and correct a weather related issue. However, if this was a situation where every time it rains the floor is slippery in the same location or they failed to use door mat that could be the basis for a negligence personal injury case.
