Legal Question in Consumer Law in South Carolina

uhual: no customer service

i rented a truck from uhual and i drove that truck from SC to VA and along the way it ran out of anti-freeze twice. i had to pull over on the side of the road to let it cool down twice because it was smoking. i had to buy anti-freeze and find someone to help me put it in. It was dark, cold, and i did not have a cell phone and i had my 2 kids with me and it was very scary and it put me about 3 hours off schedule. i have contacted uhual and they said ''no refunds''. All i want is half of my money back. Do i have a case in small claims court?

You might have a case suitable for small claims court but you must consider what, realistically, would be the amount of your claim for damages? Remember, it costs around $30.00 just to file your case. (That's proabably not too far off the cost of the antifreeze.)
