what is the difference between a bench trail and a jury trail on a misdemeanor crime if the person is on probation charged with petti larceny? no wittness just hearsay no evidence caught on the person.

With a bench trial, the judge decides if a person is guilty or not. With a jury trial, six residents of the community sit as juror and decide if the person is guilty or not.
