Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

I am a felon of buglery and simple possestion of weed. Can i still get my teaching degree??

I have never heard of a college or university that runs criminal background checks on its students. You can call a couple schools and ask. But I don't think a college would deny you from getting a degree becasue you were convicted of a crime.
