Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Child Support set up thru courts

My wife has moved to TX with her boyfriend and I have my son here in SC with me. If she is ordered to pay child support I want to know if it can be put in the divorce papers to be paid thru the court at of that court hearing?

Re: Child Support set up thru courts

Yes, the Court can require the other parent to pay his/her child support through the Court. Based on the facts you provide, that is probably the best option for you under those circumstances.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
