In the State of SC what can be done legally to the custodial parent for interfering with court-ordered visitation?

Re: Child Visitation Interference

The best remedy is usually to file a contempt action (Rule to Show Cause) against the interfering parent. A different approach would be to seek to change custody or place additional restrictions on the interfering parent.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
