Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

divorce

I was married in Colorado in 2002. My wife and I have been separated for 4 years. We both now live in South Carolina. Can I file the divorce papers here or do I have to file in Colorado?

Re: divorce

If you have both been here in South Carolina for over three months, you can file the divorce action here. If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
