Infidelity during separation

If one party in a separation (prior to legal divorce) engages in an outside relationship, is this infidelity or is there no problem?

Re: Infidelity during separation

If you are married, you can commit adultery up through the time you are divorced. Whether it poses a problem financially depends on the posture of the case, so more information is needed to answer that any more specifically.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
