leaving the country

I am wanting to leave my wife and take my daughter and leave the country. Is it illegal to take her abroad before the divorce

It is not illegal to remove her from the country, provided no Orders have been issued in your case. However, if you go, your wife can attempt to obtain a custody order, at which point you could find yourself with a multitude of problems. It is much better to address these issues head on at the beginning instead of trying play catch up and solve problems after the fact.
