Legal Question in Workers Comp in South Carolina

i had surgery on my hand for an injury on the job, i was put on light duty and was fired not for the injury, i cant find a job inmy trade because i cant use my hand, is workers comp liable?

If you were injured on the job and your employer has workers comp., then you should be covered. The fact that a person was fired, for any reason, after the injury, will have no affect on whether or not they are entitled to workers comp.
