I am sorry to hear about your accident. With such a serious injury I would recommend speaking with an experienced workers' compensation attorney in your area. You can find an attorney on AVVO.com, FindLaw or lawyers.com that has been rated in the area of Workers' Compensation. Most attorneys will provide a free consultation with no obligation to hire them. You can speak to several until you find one you are comfortable with. An attorney will make sure you are receiving all the benefits you should be, and that you are not taken advantage of by the insurance adjuster. Typically, people using an attorney receive a much larger settlement at the conclusion of their claim. Hope this information helps.
